The listserv can be used for things such as:

Relevant News and announcements
-
Announcement of funding opportunities
-
Conferences and continuing education information
-
Resource information
-
Discussion of questions and issues
-
Announcements of available positions
The following are not allowed:

No advertising or commercial promotion of products or services
-
"Position wanted" postings
-
Solicitation of Donations
Listserv members are requested to practice responsible listserv etiquette including:

Limiting responses to the list to the subject of the original message sent
-
Being aware if responses should be sent to an individual or the entire list.

Keeping postings relevant to purpose of listserv
Members may be removed from the listserv if they frequently violate any of the above guidelines
New Listserv Member Welcome Message...
Only current ASTDN members may join this message list. The message list administrators, listed at the bottom of this page, add/remove message list members. ASTDN members may both receive messages sent to the listserv and post messages to same.
ASTDN members are encouraged to use this mailing list to communicate with other ASTDN members. Message content should be related to ASTDN's goals, values, and objectives. Please see Guidelines for ASTSN ListServ on the first tab of this page.
This is list is not moderated, i.e. messages are not reviewed and/or approved by ASTDN before being sent to list members. The message sender is bears the sole responsibility for the content and accuracy of messages they send.
